How It All Started

Hey there! My name is Patrick Peringer, and I’m your Production Doctor. I grew up in a small town of just 400 people, which means I know what it’s like to work with limited resources. That background shaped how I approach production: not with flash and overwhelm, but with creativity, clarity, and care.

I earned my Ph.D. in Music Composition from the University of North Texas and took a deep dive into music theory along the way. My journey has always been about more than sound—it's been about how sound, space, and story work together to create truly meaningful moments.

Why Production Doctor Exists

Over the past decade, I’ve served in church production roles across the country—from Relevant Community Church to RockPointe Church, and now as the Central Production Director at King of Kings Church in Omaha. I’ve also worked as a national trainer with Proton Global, helping churches nationwide get hands-on, practical training that actually sticks.

And that’s really how The Production Doctor was born—out of a clear need I kept seeing again and again. Churches had gear, but not always the understanding to use it well. Volunteers had heart, but not always the training to thrive. I wanted to change that.

The Real-World Results

Whether it’s live sound, lighting design, streaming, or systems integration, I help churches get the most out of what they already have—no matter their size, budget, or tech confidence. I’ve seen firsthand how the right tools, training, and encouragement can completely shift a team’s confidence and effectiveness.

I’m not here to sell you shiny gear you don’t need. I’m here to help you unlock the full potential of what you already own—and build a team that feels capable, supported, and excited to serve.

Beyond the Soundboard

At heart, I’m a teacher. As a former college educator, I’ve always been passionate about making complex things simple and giving people the tools to succeed. My goal is to demystify production—to make it accessible, understandable, and ultimately, meaningful for your team and your mission.

When I’m not consulting, I live in Omaha, Nebraska, with my wife, our five amazing kids, and our black lab, Lucy. I spend my free time mixing music for local artists and coaching my kids’ sports teams. So yes—I speak both “engineer” and “everyday volunteer.”

If you’re ready for better, I’d be honored to walk alongside your church and help your team thrive.
